The 99ers

Revolt99 project started at the beginning of 2006. It was created by a bunch of friends that soon enlarged attracting other people with the same passion and the same will to grow it inside this complex mission.
Revolt99 Sound System is composed by 6 people right now, who invested money in the rig and all related equipments while about other 20guys give their fundamental support for the events to succeed.
The family is so composed by djs, choreographer, graphic designers, sound technicians, photographers, videomakers, drivers, multi-tasking men and much more+
The sound of Revolt99 is continously evolving, the old-school concept to focus the parties around Tekno is being abandoned and different forms of music are taking place more and more+ slower and more groovy beats are now leading the scene.
There are 4djs in the crew spinning tekno, breaks, dinib and jungle and 2 live-setter, 1 tekno and the other electro-break
In 2008 the crew decided to support and cooperate actively in Neutravel Project based in Turin and later on with independent project Lab57 born by French TECHNOPLUS school, where information on substances, damage reduction and first-aid stay at the base of a party realization.
At the beginning of 2010 Revolt99 and Labirinz system decided to become partners in building up parties, giving birth to the new ILLEGAL SHOW BUILDERZ project.
Revolt99 and Labirinz are and remain 2 different and autonomous realities but the main idea is the one to co-operate more and more becoming by the time an only one big family that travels Europe through free-parties and teknivals over the countries.
From 2013, despite sharing many ideals, the two entities separate again, the Revolt99 decide to embark on their second summer tour that will take them from southern Italy to Albania, from remote Greek islands to Bulgarian teknival, creating new connections and strengthening some relationships.

Il progetto originale del Sound System Revolt99 e’ nato nei primi mesi del 2006.
Ei stato creato da alcuni amici, e immediatamente dopo, si e’ allargato ad altre persone che nutrivano la stessa passione e voglia di mettersi in gioco in questa complessa missione.
Attualmente il sound system e’ composto da 6 persone che hanno contribuito all’investimento economico per l’acquisto dell’impianto audio, e circa una ventina di collaboratori che danno il supporto fondamentale per la realizzazione degli eventi.
La revolt99 family si compone cosi’ di: djs, coreografi, grafici, tecnici del suono, fotografi, videomakerz, driverz, multitasking people e molto altro…
Musicalmente si sta abbandonando sempre di piu’ il teknocentrismo caratterizzante dei free party old school, per dedicarsi a sonorita’ piu’ varie, coinvolgenti e con bpm piu’ lenti.
Siamo 4 dj che fanno set elektro, tekno, break, d’n’b e jungle ed 2 live-setter, uno tekno e l’altro electro-break…
Dal 2008 abbiamo deciso di supportare e collaborare attivamente Prima con il progetto Torinese Neutravel (ormai defunto); in seguito con il progetto indipendente LAB 57 di Bologna, movimento che nasce dalla scuola di TECHNOPLUS in Francia e si basa su alcuni concetti fondamentali per la realizzazione di party: l’informazione sulle sostanze, la riduzione dei rischi ed il primo pronto soccorso.
Agli inizi del 2010 nasce un nuovo progetto che prende il nome di ILLEGAL SHOW BUILDERZ.
Questo nuovo concetto prevede, la co-organizzazione degli eventi tra i sound REVOLT99 e LABIRINZ system.
Seppur rimanendo invariate ed autonome le identita’ dei due sound system nel corso degli anni si e’ deciso di collaborare sempre piu’ spesso, portando lentamente alla creazione di un unica grande tribe che si muove in Europa attraverso i vari parties e teknival…
Dal 2013, seppur condividendo molte ideali, le due entità si separano nuovamente, i Revolt99 decidono di intraprendere il loro secondo tour estivo che li porterà dal sud Italia all’Albania, da remote isole greche al teknival in Bulgaria, creando nuovi legami e rafforzando alcuni rapporti.
